Win Souls. Save Lives.

In the blink of an eye, LNY is over and we're almost in mid-Feb. Dad's op is next week, and some post-interview decisions are likely to come soon.

The other day, MC was asking me what pastor has been preaching about the last few sermons. Realised that all along, Shalom's emphasis has been on soul winning, though there have been slight deviations to other aspects. Every other Wednesday now, instead of the initial topic, we're also burdened to focus on soul winning.

One major good thing has happened so far in 2009. Not THE only good thing, but rather I consider by far, the best and most important thing to date. My willingness to study the bible and spend more time in prayers.

It's been something I've been struggling for the longest time. I'm really thankful that I'm putting my foot down on it. But most importantly, that God changed my heart to be WILLING to get down to it.

Willingness is one thing that I struggle to fathom in others though I have an issue with it myself. Invitations after invitations to service, sharings after sharings of the Word (erm, the few I've done), I sometimes really struggle with why they just don't get it. And I struggle to remind myself of the time when I wasn't saved. Once upon a time when I challenged every Word sent to me, every notion that He was the only God.

I still feel spiritually challenged / disabled but God be willing, let me be motivated to overcome this disability. Be a... soul-winning paralympics champion!
