New Year Resolutions

I remember setting new year resolutions in late 2006 along the lines of quitting caffeine and losing 1 kg per week. But I don't remember realising them (keke).

In late 2007, perhaps I was too pre-occupied with new developments in my life (SSEAYP, dating, change of job, etc) that there was no room to set resolutions.

Now that I'm in the last month of 2008, there are mixed feelings in looking back and moving forward.

The past year has been largely good for me though the world out there, in my opinion, has been in quite a turmoil. Whilst I thank the good Lord for his mercy and grace to me, I feel burdened and somewhat affected by the pains out there. Which I know I really can't do anything about. Except to pray.

The only resolution to make this year, perhaps, is really to spend more time in prayer.
