1) God does not exist
2) Religion is to fill a spiritual void
3) Many things in the bible cannot be defended or is easily refuted
4) God cannot be seen
5) The initial spirituality has died away
BUT, why can't we remember that:
1) Christ died on the cross for us?
2) It's not a religion but a relationship?
3) We cannot defend the bible competently because we do not know enough ourselves to counter the critics?
4) We cannot see Him because we choose not to?
5) We were so overwhelmed by the gift of salvation when we first received Him into our lives?
