I thot I heard it coming. The familiar sound of rush. Yet it still took me by surprise. As quickly as it came, the rain subsided in 10 minutes.
I did not do much today. Really. It was the aftermath of staying up late for a few nights during this festive period of prolonged holidays. Even when I was asked to join the Mumbo brothers and sisters for a day of games and sports at ZX's condo, I did not, despite not having joined them in their activities in a long while.
Instead I stayed home to read. Chronicles of Narnia. Fell asleep, woken up by an SMS, got up to clear some stuff and do some household chores, and continued reading.
CZ and YL returned home close to dinnertime and left shortly after to re-join the rest for dinner. Without asking me along. Even though I was sitting right in front of them reading.
So...
1) An assumption that I will not be interested in joining them?
2) Not interested in getting me along anymore?
3) I oughta have just asked to go / tag along?
*shrug. Nevermind la.

Dajie, sorry that we forgot to ask you to join us. We didn't mean to, it was just that we were too caught up with the "NTUC Scisscors issue" that we wanted to get out of the house asap. We did realised that we forgot to ask you out when we were there, but I guess its too late now.
