It reminded me of the time of accepting Christ into my life. That moment of belief, that step of faith, that acknowledgement of what it is. Foreign yet familiar, almost unusual yet natural, not quite sure but 'do-able'.
As Shir puts it, a new year, a new start. And the same loving God. My Lord and Father, I entrust this new year and new start entirely into your hands.
"Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Psalm 37:5
