It feels REALLY surreal.
You know the double red bars are there. 'Auntie' has not arrived at all. These are the 2 definitive signs that it's for real.
Yet, the body and mind feels nothing of it, almost. Except that the 2 definitive signs above tells you you have to act the role, meaning, refrain from caffeine and alcohol, and being extra careful in physical activities.
How tough it is to walk by faith! Even when the signs are so clear that you cannot NOT believe it. Just short of the trip to the doc's to confirm things. Just short of that bump that we're most excited to see.
But most importantly, thank God! Though we can make plans, and God changes them, we should be even more thankful when God's will moves in line with our plans.
