Yesterday saw the Japan team wave goodbye to the World Cup. Tomorrow marks the first day of our final month in the Japan chapter of our life. In between yesterday and tomorrow, today is yet another humid day in this tsuyu.

In between the 4 hours of eikaiwa each week, the Shufu has been making regular trips to a nearby facility for muryouu exercise classes, 30 laps of swim and a good scrub at the onsen. And she has since discovered that the taitai life is REALLY hard to sustain. For one, it should have been the perfect circumstance for her to dive deep into her studies for the JLPT which is (unbelievably) happening THIS nichiyoubi. Yet, the dullness of nothingness (except studying) reduced the determination and discipline to persevere at achieving at least a pass. May there be a miracle.

And so it is. We're into our last days in Kochi.
