四月から

Since Spring kicked in on 1 March, the weather has been warmer but wetter.  The winds continue to howl relentless outside the windows (it is now what the Japanese call the 'spring storm' that 'chases' away the winter chill) but the voices of young children playing in the warmth of the spring is also returning despite the perils of being blown away.

Since receiving the news that I will not be re-contracted to continue teaching after the Spring break, many many thoughts have been filling my mind. What preceded and followed the re-contracting woes have no doubt added to the wild thoughts swirling in and out of my mind now and then. Many unhappy things have been said and done and I just want to move on and out of the politics in preschool.

Just as God had blessed me with the job at M's soon after I arrived, I am confident that He too has His purpose for me in the remaining 4 months that I will still be here. There will still be many challenges to overcome: impending visits from home, trimming down, utilising time and expenses wisely, reading His words and staying close to Him, and of course, pro-creating.

四月からはいろいろな活動を期待!
