I've been pestered for more pictures of home and surroundings so here goes:
last night's dinner, totally (almost) prepared by yours truly. 簡単ですが、美味しいですね！(simple but delicious)

our small kitchen, all cleaned up! but roaches still prevail and we're to the point where we kill them with bare hands QUICKLY before they escape :(
the cosy living area corner. the floor couches are adjustable to go flat totally. cool stuff.
