I've always viewed Pastor as a solemn, strict, and somewhat worrisome character. At times, a hint of humour can be detected, but not without a tinge of skepticism. Hence I tend to find it contradictory whenever he preaches on being a cheerful believer.
Yesterday's sermon was pretty light-hearted. Nothing new or rocket-science with the usual emphasis on soul-winning and resisting temptations. When Pastor mentioned how we address God our Father intimately as Abba, I half expected him to break into a Dancing Queen routine, which of course, cannot be possible.
But God impressed upon my heart and reminded me to keep praying for my real Abba, and that only my Abba in heaven can change the heart of my Abba on earth.
