EVERYONE is so concerned and worries about the financial 'tsunami' out there. I guess I can't be so sure that every single person is concerned, but not one day goes by without someone mentioning times are bad.
Banks are falling, people are complaining about mis-selling, companies are tightening their belts, even government agencies are putting on their frowniest frowns.
We may be laughing when we joke about spending more during bad times, but it's not a joke ya? It's the truth. We SHOULD be spending during bad times, if not the economy can never recover.
Again, I repeat: Banks are falling, people are complaining about mis-selling, companies are tightening their belts, even government agencies are putting on their frowniest frowns.
I'm frankly, not worried, about the tsunami/typhoon that is brewing out there. And I'd like to think that it's not because I'm immune to the consequences of such, or that I'm superficial, or unconcerned, or just not realising how it will affect me eventually.
I'd rather like to believe I'm just trusting that my God UP there and OUT there is really over and above how all these will impact me. I may lose my job, I may suffer a paycut, I may no longer be able to lead a certain lifestyle that I've been leading, or I may even have difficulty paying my bills. I'm not sure what my reactions will be then, but I'm sure I would want my reactions to be how the Lord wants it to be.
So, no matter what happens OUT there, the one UP there is in control. That's all I need to know. Period.
