I'm wearing a creased skirt which I can't iron out

The grey skirt on me is complimentary of my mum who bought it and somehow decided it din look gd on her (or coz it is so darn impossible to iron it straight it just increasingly creases). And to think I can fit in it. Ha.

There's been many changes since. Aside from the weight. Wedding preps are still ongoing, the Japan stint hasn't gotten back with any news at all (highly unusual for the all-immaculate-Japanese-system), and past the contentment of the recent weight loss, I'm trying to lose more.

Wedding preps are mind-boggling to a certain extent. I did not set out to contravene any standards or test the limits of anyone's tolerance but probably ended up doing so. Striving to be politically and spiritually correct is a challenge. Coming to this point in time (and we're not even half-way through to 1 Oct), I must admit that I'm quite tired of the ups and downs of stuff.

The excitement of choosing THE gown, and the difficulty of doing that; the uncertainty of the weather, and the certainty of the style we want it; our obvious choice of music, and the doubt of it being 'approved'; and amongst these, expectations of parents, pastor, and people to manage.

But I'm thankful. The Lord has brought far too many blessings into my life for me to start thinking all the struggles are daunting and cannot be overcomed. The parents are giving, pastor is appreciative, and the people are concerned. And regardless of all the hiccups and obstacles in the wedding preps, what matters is the person I'm marrying.
