A new discovery

I discovered that YEC is NOT just about:
1) PAYM
2) Being a youth leader in the YM arena

I discovered that YEC is really about:
1) Doing grassroots work
2) Being a grassroots leader, which means
- attending meetings / dialogues / workplans which has no meaning and value to myself
- subject myself to grassroots politics which makes absolute senseless humour

So now that I'm chairing a committee which I might not have wanted to join personally at the beginning, knowing what it really is all about......

I discover that I can only choose to hang on.
