Of Wisdom & Foolishness, Strength & Weakness

Convicted to share 1 Corinthians today:

1:20-21 "hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God"

Why would God 'make foolish the wisdom of this world'? Because Man, with that wisdom, abandoned and 'knew not God', the Creator and source of that wisdom?

1:25 "Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men."

If God is even foolish or weak, of which He is neither.

1:27 "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty"

The most convincing way is to win the wise with the foolish, and the strong with the weak.

As 1 Corinthians 3:19 best puts it "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God."
So why struggle to be smarter than the rest? 傻人有傻福 ok
